Setting Up Tracking URL on Forms

That is why the Lunteer platform is built for speed! In this tutorial we will show you how to setup goal tracking for analytic platforms that require url changes based on user actions.
How Many Analytic Platforms Work
Google Analytics and many other analytic platforms use the url of the webpage to track activity. This works great, but the fastest way to show a form completion is to show it on the same page as the form itself. This means the page does not reload or refresh. In the past this has been a tracking nightmare.
Today you can add tracking code onto the url so it tracks within you analytics platform. It is easy to setup and will only take you a few minutes.
Access your Forms
Log into to your website dashboard and on the left menu you will see Forms.
Edit or Create your Form
Select the form you wish to edit or create a new form.
Add URL tracking
- Scroll down to the Form Tracking
- Within this section there is a subsection called Google Analytics URL Parameter
- Add a parameter and a variable, we show an example inline with the field for your convenience.
Save your Changes
Once you have finished add the information, go ahead and update the form and it will automatically update anywhere where you use this form.
